I have assisted teachers in using this program and I have to admit, it is great. The students are moving and learning. After viewing and moving to one of the videos, a student said that she loves coming to the library. The impact of the information is evident in the conversations afterwards. I would like for the teachers to continue using the program and give the students the wonderful learning experiences.

I find that most of my students are more focused and less disruptive during the lesson. Activity Works seems to wake them up and calm them down which helps them pay attention and answer questions during our whole group instruction. I was worried that Activity Works would cause my already "hyper" students to be out of control during math however they are more focused and want to participate and be involved in the math lesson.”

One of my students was having a very difficult time focusing. I have noticed that the more often we do the activity works activities the more focused and attentive he is throughout the day. I can see how beneficial it is for the students especially in the younger grades when they are full of energy and have few ways to burn off this energy. I love how it combines physical activity and academic subject matter.

Immediately following lunch time, our children can become over-stimulated. Activity Works is an excellent tool to help them expend their energy in a positive way while simultaneously providing them with skills throughout the curriculum. By the time the video concludes with a cool down stretch, they are calmer and able to focus on instruction again.
