The students look forward to participating in activity works daily. It is part of our daily routine, even when we go on trips the first thing we do when we get back is pop in the cd and get into our activity works spot! The children are especially excited to participate because I do it with them in the classroom. Not only are they hearing that exercise and healthy food are important but they are seeing their teacher do the same things they are doing it. Everyone knows that jumping jacks are my favorite. :)

I must say my students enjoy activity works! I had been out of school ill for a week and upon my return one of things my students mentioned was how the subsititute did not do activity works! Well since then I have showed three trusting studetns how to log in! They enjoy the videos and most of all seeing our name on the usage statistics! It definitely calms them down after lunch and before we start our instruction!

My students are very competitive. They watch the usage statistics daily. They try to come up with plans to increase their usage placement. Presently they have decided to do it twice a day, although some of the students would like to do Activity Works all day.

For a minimum of 10 minutes daily, my students are actively engaged in both learning fundamental academic concepts all across the standard elementary curriculum as well as a complete physical workout that energized them, motivated them, and contributed to an increase in physical fitness and student achievement.

My students and I really enjoy it and it gives us time to let out our energy. The children look forward to Activity Works time and even ask to do it if we do not get to it. They are motivated just by doing the activities.

My students ask for Activity Works as soon as they come in our room. All the children participate and it fits into the curriculum. Activity Works improves their listening skills and they have fun.

As the Special Education teacher, I thought this program helped develop hand-eye coordination, memory recall and it made learning fun! I observed the students smiling and laughing as they got themselves involved with the music. Every time the children heard we were going to do the Activity Works program- they became excited and automatically got up and started the routine. I enjoyed myself!
